insomniac?

a lack of sleep
      leaves me
ugly & lionhearted -

    ( tearing holes in
       the past and avulsions
       through our future,
       we've got impacted cracks
       written on the walls of our house
       & you never asked why
       when i said i hated faithful
       stalemates like you. )
